For just over 12 months in 1970/71, Westward Airways operated a daily flight to Heathrow from Plymouth and - as advertised - the Heathrow-Gatwick shuttle. It was damaged beyond repair in a landing accident at Cark, Cumbria, on 5 February 1994 while operated by North West Parachute Centre.
