The 20 gvardeiskiy / aviatsionnyy polk istrebiteley-bombardirovshchikov (20 gv/apib, ground attack unit) operated with 35 Su-17s, in the M-3/M-4/UM-3 (NATO reporting names FITTER-H/-K/-G) from Gross Dölln (Templin). I visted the base in not the very best weather, but hey its a Soviet FITTER. This M-4 was withdrawn from use by possible late 1994.
