Zipkin, meaning Harpoon, is the nickname of 162 Filo. Its logo of a diving eagle, harpoon in claws, at some point gained the light beam from the eyes. This could have to do with the squadron's ability to equip its jets with the LANTIRN pod since 1998, considerably increasing its mission capabilities.
