The Bell V-280 Valor tilt-rotor is designed for the Joint Multi-Role (JMR) Technology Demonstrator (TD) program supporting the Future Vertical Lift (FVL) program of the US Army. The type first flew on December 18, 2017 and has been undergoing development flight testing in Texas.
