Delivered to the USAAF as C-54B 42-72417 then transferred to the US Navy as R5D-2 50867 in 1945. Converted to an R5D-5. Redesignated as a C-54S in 1962. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with park code 3C092 in 1971. Sold as N48216 in 1975 and used by a number of operators. Reregistered as N97810 in 1986. Last noted at Mexico City in 1989.
