Attached by a web of cables, to complex airborne geophysical mapping equipment. Externally this comprises two large, differently sized, roughly circular shapes formed from lengths of orange tubing. The corner of the larger element can be seen to the right. The helicopter is just about to perform a slow hover take off until the array fully clears the ground, hanging beneath it in a cone shape reminiscent of the steel hooped framework supporting ladies' wide crinoline dresses in the mid 19th century. It then departed for survey work to the north, trailing the cone. Quite a sight.
