This Sea Knight was TOC by the USN in Oct. 65 and served with various squadrons including HMM-164, 165 & 265 before being retired to MASDC during Jan. 72 as 1J037. She was returned to service in July 74 with NARF, North Island & then Cherry Point before finally serving in Helicopter Combat Support Squadron (HC) 6 on board the combat stores ship Sylvania (AFS-2).
