This 743 was originally delivered to Singapore Airlines in November 1983 as N118KD and later became 9V-SKD. It was leased to Ansett in August 1994 as VH-INJ and was later painted into the Syndney 2000 special scheme. it returned to Singapore Airlines in August 1999 but by this time the type was being displaced in the fleet by 744s.
