This An-2 was originally delivered to the Estonian directorate of Aeroflot as CCCP-85492 in February 1981. The plane then passed on to Estonian Air in November 1993 and became ES-CAE, after which in September 1995 it became privately owned and in July 2002 was placed onto the Swedish register.
