One of the earliest Viscounts completed by Vickers, delivered to British European Airways in 1953. Sold to Cambrian Airways in 1963. Leased to BOAC in 1972 to provide feeder flights from Edinburgh and Belfast for BOAC's Prestwick transatlantic services. Donated to the RAF Museum at Cosford in 1976. Transferred in 2006 to the National Museum of Flight, East Fortune, where it remains stored in a dismantled state. This photo is copyright © David A.
