Official Lufthansa photo CH341/6/19, stamped Boeing 707 Intercontinental Jet on back. Delivered 3 February 1960 as the first 707 for Lufthansa, still with short tail and without tail fin which were modified soon after. Pearl Air 9Q-CRT early 1977, used as freighter without cargo door. Damaged beyond repair Sanaa 9 August 1977 in hard landing. This photo was added on 3 September 2022, and has since been viewed 412 times. |
