The PL-12 was designed as a crop-duster and agricultural sesquiplane (a common variation on the biplane where one wing has less than half the surface area of the other). Other versions can be used as cargo, ambulance or aerial survey aircraft, and carry one passenger in the top deck and four in the lower deck. This example was ferried to Spain in 1977 and is now on display at the super Museo del Aire. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
