Built in Jul-1956 as USAF 55-2739, it went to the French Air Force in Nov-1961 as 52739. It was struck off charge in Jan-1980 and became a decoy at Djibouti. In Jan-1989 it arrived at the Musée du Château de Savigny-lès-Beaune, but by 2010 it was at Skrydstrup in Denmark. It was restored with the tail and wings of Danish Air Force GT-949 and GT-870. It was delivered to the Danmarsk Flymuseum at Stauning end 2016 painted as Danish Air Force G-183.
