Built by Cub Aircraft in Denmark in 1939 from a Piper kit as a J-3F-40 with a 40hp Franklin 4AC-150-S40 engine. Due to the war it was only registered in Nov-1948 as OY-ABT. In 1962 it was converted to a J-3F-50 with a 50 hp Franklin 4AC-150-S50 engine. In 1975 it was added to the Dansk Veteranflysamling which in Jun-2007 changed its name to Danmarks Flymuseum.
