OE-XBT, the austrian police's sole Jet Ranger, returns from a training flight to it's base at Wien-Vöslau. Since the late 1960's, the austrian police operated a total of six licence built Agusta-Bell 206 Jet Rangers, of which some were written off after accidents, and the remaining replaced by AS-350B1 Ecureuil's as from the mid 1980's. Then in 1996/97, two Bell 206B3 Jet Rangers were introduced for basic flight training, of which only OE-BXT remains operational at the time of upload. The other - OE-BXR - ended up in Uganda, flying for the East African country's Air Force. This photo is copyright © Adrian Romang, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
