Originally delivered in 1984 to JBG-77 (note the squadron badge on the tail) she was scheduled to be handed over to the Volksmarine MFG-28. Due to German unification this transfer never happened and as the GAF never operated any Fitters (although allocated the serial 2505 (25+05)) she was retired and eventually ended up on display at the Aeronauticum museum.
