This Tornado flew for the first time on 13 January 1982 and was delivered to the Royal Air Force on 18 July 1980. It was retained by BAe Warton for mainly weapons trials. It made its last flight on 17 March 2004 by QinetiQ crew for Stormshadow trials. The Tornado was withdrawn from use and stripped for spares up to early 2005.
