Pattern aircraft for Canadian Lancaster production, just flown across the Atlantic from Britain by Clyde Pangborn. R5727 was later converted for transport duties and registered as CF-CMS. On 22 July 1943 it flew from Montréal - Dorval to Prestwick non-stop in 12 hours and 26 minutes. Crashed near Dorval on a training flight on 1 June 1945, no injuries.
