ZG531 and ZG532 of 4sq attended to the Farnborough Iternational Airshow 1992 with a nice looking tail. This ZG532 made its first flight on 12 October 1991 and was delivered to the Royal Air Force on 12 February 1992. It was assigned to 4sq. The aircaft did not end its military career in a healthy condition as it crashed on 14 July 1999. The pilot experienced control problems during air combat manoeuvring over Cornhill. The pilot ejected safely and the Harrier came down near Cornhill-on-Tweed. This photo is copyright © Stephan de Bruijn, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
