Left side was painted with Australian National Airways titles and fake registration VH-ANA at Essendon in late 1985 for use in the movie "A Far Country". It is actually ex RAAF A65-102. In 1990 it was registered N65388 and cancelled in 1994. It was next registered VH-SPY in 1995 and stored at Cairns, QLD. Cancelled in 1999 when it became N65388 again, but never delivered due to corrosion. Remained at Cairns until Feb 2016, when it was trucked away.
