KLM's Boeing 737-300s and -400s got names of a somewhat eclectic mix of explorers, Dutch admirals and scientists. PH-BDN honoured William of Rubruck, a Flemish monk who explored the Mongol empire in the 13th century. Broken up at Norwich in 2011.
