A nice line up of LVR1 Starfighters, the unit was established at Erding as a flight continuation unit for pilots awaiting for Tornado conversion. After the withdrawal of Starfighters from the combat units, Luftwaffenversorgungsregiment 1 (Air Force Supply Regiment) in Erding continued operating with these F-104s.
