Still is its RAF camouflage and serial, no props and splattered with bird droppings, the intended NZ2358 may never have carried its RNZAF serial. Many of the ex RAF Mosquitos acquired by the RNZAF in 1947-48 went straight to storage. RS693/NZ2358 was sold in 1955 with only 68 airframe hours most of which would have been amassed during the ferry flight from the UK to New Zealand.
