Photo taken 'early-1966'. First flight 10 Jan.1947 as VL246 and delivered to RAF King's Flight 25 Jan.1947. Registered to Tradair as G-APOP -6 Aug.1958 and delivered to them at Southend 12 Aug.1958. Registered to Channel Airways 20 Dec.1962 following corporate name change. This was Channel Airways' last operational Viking and made its final flight to/from Basle on -4 Jan.1965. after which it was WFU at Southend and its fuselage used as a cabin trainer until late-1967.
