One hundred and fifty F-47D-40-RE Thunderbolts were delivered to Yugoslavia from 1952 onwards (also reported as 133 or 126 depending on the source) and utilised in a fighter-bomber role. The type was relegated to advanced training duties by 1957, after being replaced by the F-84 and had been withdrawn completely from service by 1961. This example is on display at the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum but, unfortunately, the cn is not known. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
