This aircraft was built in Mielec in 1953 as Lim-1 (licensed version of MiG-15) with the side number 39. During service it was upgraded to SBLim-1, SBLim-2A, then SBLim-2M. It served, among others, in 53th Assault Aviation Regiment in Bydgoszcz, 15th Reconaissance Aviation Squadron of Polish Navy in Siemirowice (JW 4557), 7th Special Aviation Regiment in Siemirowice.
