This 717 was originally delivered to Olympic Aviation as SX-BOC in January 2001. The plane went on to fly with Olympic Airlines, AeBal (Spanair Link) and AeBal (Spanair Link) (the latter two as EC-JZX) before joining Blue 1 in August 2010. Although pictured lining up on rw24 for departure, the plane was coming to the end of its time at the airline as one month later it was ferried to Cecil Field (KVQQ) for storage. Four futher years of activity followed with Delta as N988DN but it was wfu in April 2020, then ferried to Blytheville (KBYH) and partially scrapped. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
