In late 1966 the USAF selected a military variant of the Cessna Model 337 Super Skymaster to supplement the O-1 Bird Dog FAC aircraft. The O-2A Skymaster identified and marked enemy targets with smoke rockets, co-ordinated air strikes and reported target damage. This O-2A was assigned to the 20th TAS Squadron at Da Nang, South Vietnam in the late 1960s and is now on display at the National Museum of the USAF. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
