Shuttleworth's Sopwith Camel replica is seen here on static display at Old Warden at a late stage in its construction, but its first flight would be nearly two years away on 18 May 2017. It was the last product of The Northern Aeroplane Workshops and represents a machine of 70 Squadron in 1918, almost a century earlier. This photo is copyright © David A.
