Built in 1980, imported in 1983 as C-GLKE and registered to Timberline Nurseries & Landscaping Ltd. (as seen here) on 8 September 1989. Exported as N39CP in November 1994. In 2001 it was re-imported as C-GHYC and is Victoria (CYYJ) based as such in 2023. (In the late 1980s, while based at St Andrews/MB (CYAV), it was being flown locally on a bitterly cold winter day when the engine stopped, resulting in a successful highway forced landing. Investigation revealed that the oil breather pipe had frozen solid at the tip causing the crank case to pressurize and blow all the oil out, resulting in a seized engine.) The Colonial C-2 (C-FUSX) behind is based at Powell River/BC in 2023.
