Ex 44-76991, KN637, K-32 in the Belgian air force, and X-5 in the Dutch air force. Transferred to the navy for service in Netherlands New Guinea. The MLD (Naval Air Service) declared the Gooney Bird to be an R4D-1, misspelt as 'R4 D-1' on the tailfin, even though the C-47B was the R4D-6. Tail code B for Biak. Sold in Vietnam as XV-NIK.
