Ovda has a huge storage / dump site on the south western part of the airfield. Through the years hundreds of withdrawn from use Israeli Air Force aircraft could be found here. Although the aircraft looks in a bad shape in this hot desert place... by 2008, this dual seat Kfir was moved to IAI at Ben Gurion, overhauled and sold to Colombia as FAC3007.
