Delivered new to BOAC in October 1950 and flew with them until May 1954 when sold to Britavia who flew her until July 1959 on general charter work and trooping flights, the latter being flown for a time as XJ280. Britavia merged into Silver City Airways in July 1959 and she continued to fly with them until being withdrawn and scrapped at Stansted in 1962 This photo was added on 4 February 2023, and has since been viewed 390 times. |
