KA-6D 149937 leading a formation of Intruders over Oceana. The aircraft belonged to the inventory of Attack Squadron (VA) 34 "Blue Blasters". The Intruder was delivered to the USN in 1963 and was transferred from active service to the US Naval Reserves in October 1992. It served them to early 1993 and was flown over to AMARC for storage on 7 April 1993. The KA-6D remained in storage up to 27 September 2010. It was then scrapped by HVF West, Tucson (AZ).
