Former US Navy R4D-6 Bu50799 converted to a C-47J in 1964 and C-47L in 1967. Served with the Air Attaché in Athens until SOC in 1970 and bought by Carolina Aircraft of Fort Lauderdale FLA. Passed through Luton in company with N10CA (ex Bu50797) on delivery. Later sold to Aerotécnica of Venezuela as YV-C-GAI and written off near Ciudad Bolivar in May 1972. This photo was added on 16 February 2023, and has since been viewed 299 times.
