This original C-1 is painted in the markings of 1st Lt Quentin Roosevelt (the son of President Theodore Roosevelt), 3rd Flight, 95 Aero Squadron, 1st Pursuit Group who was killed in action near Chambery on 21st July, 1918 aged 21.
