First flew 9 May 1947. Registered G-AIVC 19 Nov.1946. To BEA 16 May 1947 as 'Vernon', renamed 'Lord Collingwood' in 1951. Sold June 1954 and used serial WZ353 while operating trooping flights with Eagle. Cancelled 20 March 1957, registered D-AGAD the next day, later allocated D-BGAD (ntu), then to D-BEPO. First flight as F-BJER for Airnautic 5 Nov.1959. While en route from Gatwick to Perpignan on 11 Sept.1963, it flew into high ground at Pic de la Roquette in the Pyrenees, killing all 36 passengers and 4 crew members.
