Full-scale mock-up of the Helicop-Jet, first shown at Le Bourget in 1969. This was a 'cold jet' tip-driven type. Its cabin consisted of two Panhard PL-24c car rooves, one for the floor and the other for the roof. The first prototype, F-WZAI, made its first flight in December 1976 at Issy-les-Moulineaux. A second, improved, prototype, F-WZJO, made its first flight on 12 December 1984, also at Issy-les-Moulineaux. It was intended to produce the type in Canada but I don't believe this went ahead.
