This is now thought to be a conversion of Mirage IIIE n° 589. It was converted to "Milan S" n° 01 (S= Switzerland) with retractable moustaches flown to standard M2 without radar from 29.5.70, at the Paris Air Show 5/6.71. To M5D standard (Libya) with Aïda II radar. At the Paris Air Show 5/6.73. To Milan II standard with Litton LN33 IMU & Eliott HUD. At the Paris AirShow 6.75. Converted back to a standard Mirage IIIE and back to the French Air Force 5.8.77 as F-ULAF. Written off after it force landed in a field near Luxeuil on 28/1/83.
