Earl Player from Salt Lake City in a light aircraft he built in 1941. The fuselage was of geodetic construction. The wing came from a Long Longster and the tailfin from a Curtiss-Wright Junior. It survives in the EAA Aviation Museum. Taylorcraft N39916 is current as of 2023.
