The Folland 43/37 was a dedicated engine testbed aircraft. It was a large plane with a cabin for two observers, provided with engine instruments. A batch of twelve airframes served at Bristol, Napier and Rolls-Royce from 1940. Here a Bristol Hercules VIII is fitted.
