Former BuNo 156601 and former Norwegian Air Force serial 601 was delivered to the Spanish Air Force on 2 December 1988. The Orion was modified to P-3M and reserialled P.3B-11 in November 2005. It was seen stored without engines at Moron in late 2010 and the aircraft was reported as withdrawn from use on 1 March 2011. In October 2021, it was earmarked to go to a playground in Utrera (Spain). But so far, no reports about that move.
