Grumman Widgeon production was continued by SCAN in France from 1948. The venture was not a success and 29 incomplete aircraft were shipped to California where some were converted to PACE Gannet standard with Lycoming R-680 engines by Pacific Aircraft Engineering Co from Sun Valley.
