The American military used the L-17 from the late 1940s to the 1960s as liason, reconnaisance, light cargo and FAC aircraft. This aircraft carries the scheme used by a L-17B of the AF ROTC program at Bradley University, Preoria, IL in early 1959. She is now on display at the National Museum of the USAF and, note, definately carries the stencilled serial 48-928A under the cockpit canopy. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
