This aircraft is also listed as c/n DHA127, which was A17-130 and formerly VH-BCW. The fuselage of BCW was used in a rebuild of VH-AZT in the 1950s but the aircraft retained the registration and c/n of AZT. Not an uncommon practice in rebuilds. The aircraft underwent a further rebuild between 1970 and 1982 and returned to the register with the c/n A17-130. The c/n used here is that of VH-AZT when first registered in in 1946.
