Delivered as C212DE1 with construction number 1-313 and serial TR.12D-72 from May 1987 onwards. The Aviocar was reserialled to TM.12D-72 in the fall of 2005. Here -72 is seen while participating in the Tactical Leadership Programme from Albacete air base. The Aviocar is modified into an Communication Intelligence (COMINT) / Electronic Counter Measures (ECM) / Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) aircraft (one of two used with the Ejército del Aire.
