In October 1996, while taxiing during a night exercise, a deer ran into the prop and was smashed into the fuselage, resulting in damage beyond repair. The Hawkeye was stripped from usable parts and used as a training aid afterwards. This photo was added on 18 April 2023, and has since been viewed 202 times. |
