A good-looking biplane, the C.230 first flew in 1930. Some 75 examples were apparently built, mostly Renault-powered C.232s. The C.270 Luciole was developed from it. F-AJZJ was registered to the Club d'Avions Légers de Flandres in Lille in June 1931. The club had an airfield in Roubaix - Flers and it looks like the photo was taken there - see photo 567334 for the full picture.
