There were two Curtiss J aircraft both of which were sold to the US Navy. The famed Curtiss JN Jenny was an amalgam of the Curtiss J and Curtiss N. Curtiss landplanes were test flown from an area adjacent to Keuka Lake known as Kingsley Flats.
