Wolf 23 entering the runway for a one-hour training sortie followed by a few circuits. Below the present-day crew names, tribute is paid to Leading Aircraftman Reynolds of Bomber Command. He and his crew were killed flying a, then already obsolescent, Fairey Battle I during a heroic attack on one of the bridges over the Albertkanaal in Maastricht (NL).
